Previous page How did we get our start? In 1983, Beth McTavish was in India where she saw a group of yogis practicing and was mesmerized by the stillness of yoga. She returned home and began to practice Iyengar yoga. Six years later, Beth sourced the first materials to make her own yoga props and just like that, Halfmoon was born. What makes our products unique? The Halfmoon collection is crafted just outside of Vancouver, BC, and thoughtfully designed for a variety of practices. Our intention today is the same as it was over 30 years ago: To create beautifully designed yoga and meditation goods. Why do we love what we do?
